Kicking Off the New Year at the Consumer Electronics Show

New Year’s may have seemed like a big party but it can’t compare to the tech-o-rama that is about to hit Las Vegas.  That’s right, put away the confetti and noisemakers and get out the gadgets – it’s time for the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The biggest technology show on Earth begins Jan. 8 and NEW will be there.

This year’s show is expected to be bigger than ever.  CEA CEO, Gary Shapiro even claims that “you can’t walk from one side of the show to the other” – challenge accepted!

Shapiro also noted that HD, car technology, mobile gadgets, and healthcare products are expected to be the big trends at the show this year.

While CES is a time to get caught up in the inspiring innovation that tech geniuses around the world are developing, there is one part that often gets over looked when we are ogling the latest smartphones, TVs, and appliances – what to do once we have the flashy new products?

The story at the NEW booth is about enhancing the consumer ownership experience – product education, protection, and lifecycle management. NEW focuses on helping consumers identify the products/accessories they need, offering product support through mobile, online, and over the phone channels, and delivering quality repair services.

Be sure to stop by the NEW booth (#8652) and check out the Keep It NEW game – an interactive video game that educates consumers on avoiding common dangers to their most prized electronic devices! Players with the highest points will be selected for daily prizes.

If you can’t be at CES – don’t worry.  You can still play the game. Visit www.playkeepitnew.com or download the free game app from iTunes, Google play, or Amazon.

And stay tuned, we will be posting daily updates on all of the top gadgets, latest tech trends, and juicy news that is shared at the show.
